Meet Healing Horses

I have 24 years experience as a special needs teacher. In 2024 I completed a level 3 diploma in equine care and a diploma in equine facilitated learning with horse haven. I am a registered practitioner with one equine and am a senior practitioner accredited with the ACCPH. 

My approach is a child-centred one, but also one that values the welfare of the animals involved. Horses are sentient beings and when allowed to will make natural connections with people. The programme focuses on learning about horses and their care, enabling the development of self confidence, emotional wellbeing and communication skills. 

I offer 1:1 sessions which last for 1 hour. Sessions can also involve siblings or friends if suitable. Sessions are planned and tailored to meet the individual needs in of each participant. We use a large barn with stables and have indoor and

outdoor learning spaces.
