FEEDBACK AND RECOMMENDATIONS FROM OUR PARTICIPANTS

This is absolutely fabulous! Both boys attend this together. My youngest has Down Syndrome, he is nearly 8 and is still non-verbal. There are limited things/groups that he can attend due to this however but Helen is great with him, even when he is not co-operating. It has definitely improved his own confidence and want to try new things. It has also improved his attention when doing his “tracing” activities that have improved greatly in just a few weeks.  The horses are great with both boys and are very tolerant of unexpected noises and the not so gentle grooming. Helen taught my eldest for 3 years in school (woman deserves a medal) so she knows exactly how to get him to also try new things and learn more about pony care and how to identify different horse markings (he’s nearly 14) 

Would definitely recommend Helen and Equine Facilitated Learning as she quickly identifies the needs of each child as an individual and supports their needs.

I highly recommend Helen at Healing Horses Equine Facilitated Learning. My daughter has been twice and has absolutely loved the experience. The ability Helen has to engage with the children at their level and remember so many little details about the child left my daughter feeling relaxed and happy in her company. Can not wait for another visit!

I really recommend Healing Horses Equine Facilitated Learning  . Helen has a background as a teacher and is a fantastic facilitator. She has excellent ideas for play/learning and will meet your child where they are developmentally. It's been really beneficial.
